How Mjölby Municipality is run

The highest decision-making body in the municipality is the Municipal Council (Kommunfullmäktige). MjölbyMunicipality has 45 council members. They make decisions regarding, for example, goals and guidelines for the municipality's operations, the budget, taxes and other financial issues.

This is how Mjölby Municipality voted

The turnout for the 2014 election was 82,58 percent. 17 649 people voted out of a total of 20 965 voters. Distribution of the 45 mandates in the Municipal Council (comparison with the 2010 election is stated in brackets):
